Autonomous vehicles can only work if they work for everyone

Our research has shown that people will demand a higher standard of safety from autonomous vehicles (AVs) than human drivers.

Community engagement is therefore essential to the development and acceptance of safe, practical, and user-friendly AVs. D-RISK is working with communities at every step of the project to ensure AV technology is something that is adding value to the lives of real people, and not excluding or inadvertently causing harm to disadvantaged groups.

We want to hear from you.

Tell us about near misses, collisions, and instinctive driving decisions. Chances are, if its a strange and unique event, nobody else will have told us about it yet. That makes it perfect for our edge case library.

Tell us what happened, what you and other road users and did and what the result was, and click submit to add it straight into our edge case database.
